Assist The Leesburg Police Department in promoting career opportunities and raise awareness about the benefits of joining the police force.
Fund recruitment events, informational sessions, and marketing campaigns to attract qualified candidates.
Fund mental health training for officers to effectively handle crisis situations involving individuals with mental health challenges.
Support training programs that focus on community policing, cultural sensitivity, and de-escalation techniques.
Funding needed for Technology and Equipment:
Raise funds to supplement specialized equipment, technology, and tools that enhance the capabilities of law enforcement officers and improve public safety.
Honor
Participate with initiatives to honor and recognize the achievements of the LPD staff.
Create and participate in initiatives/ events to build LPD staff morale.
Support
Support for LPD Staff and Families:
Provide support services, counseling, and assistance to officers and their families during times of need, such as medical emergencies or personal crises.
Support initiatives that provide mental health resources and services to both officers and the community.
Organize family-oriented events to strengthen the bonds between officers and their loved ones.
Community Engagement and Outreach:
Foster positive relationships between law enforcement and the community.
Fund and help organize community events, workshops, and seminars to educate the public about police work, crime prevention, and safety measures.
Collaborate with local schools to promote positive interactions between police officers and students.
Support after-school activities, sports, and educational programs that promote positive interactions between officers and young people.
